Mollie 7 months

Mollie Lynn you are 7 months old!
What have you been up to these days?

You wear size 6 or 6-9 month clothes.
You wear size 3 diapers.
You are a long and lean, petite little girl!

You sleep at night from about 7:30 pm until 7 or 7:30 am.
You take a short morning and evening nap, and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.

You sleep on your tummy, and like to put yourself to sleep. Sometimes I WISH that I could rock you to sleep, so that I could hold and snuggle my sleeping baby, but you want nothing to do with being held to sleep. Don't get me wrong though, I'm very happy to have a good sleeper for a baby. You wake up SO happy, grinning, pumping your arms and legs.

You roll ALL.OVER.THE.PLACE. You use your arms to turn and pull yourself. You can't crawl yet, but you always find a way to scoot and maneuver your way to a place you want to be or toy you want to play with.. Sometimes when you really want something or get really excited, you flip on your tummy, put your arms down by your side and pump your legs. We call it "The Superman." It doesn't get your anywhere, but it's cute to watch.

You take 4-5 (6 ounce) bottles of formula each day. You like to hold your own bottles. You eat solid foods twice daily. This month you tried oatmeal, acorn squash, cantaloupe and green beans. You like to feed yourself, and eat almost all of your foods diced instead of pureed now. You do a great job of only grabbing one piece of fruit or vegetable at a time, rather then shoving it in your mouth by the fistfuls. You are growing up way too fast!

You love to drink water from a sippy cup.

You celebrated your first Halloween and your first Thanksgiving this month!
You were an adorable Minnie Mouse for Halloween.

We spent Thanksgiving with Gabby and Bumpa and all our aunts and uncles. You were such a good little girl and slept through our entire meal.

No teeth yet!

You had a very hard time with your 4 month shots, but did fantastic with your 6 month shots!

You like to be in the front pack.

You can sit up with the boppy for support, or with a toy between your legs. You usually topple over after about 15-30 seconds. You keep getting better and stronger, and you are so close to doing it by yourself!

You are THE.NOISIEST.BABY.EVER. Mollie, you squeal, screech, ohhh and ahhh all the time. You are the happiest baby. You smile and make noise from the time you wake up, until the time you go to bed. We can even get smiles out of you when you are tired or hungry. I swear, all we have to do is look at you and your entire face lights up with pure delight. You belly laugh and giggle nonstop. You are quite the ticklish little thing. You bring such joy to our lives and have stolen your Daddy's heart lately. I was already smitten.

You said your first word! Following suit like your brother, your first word was "Mama!" You repeat it especially if you are hungry and you know that I am getting your bottle ready.

We call you Sissy all the time. I hardly ever call you Mollie!

You are a strong baby girl. You don't like to get into the car seat, sometimes arching your back in protest! Thankfully once you are in, you are pretty content. Just like your brother, you hardly ever fall asleep in the car or in your car seat.

You like to stick to your routine, but you are so easy going and adjust to anything we are doing.

You LOVE your big brother. After naps, Matthew likes to come into your crib. Matthew tells me "Bye-bye", kindly telling me to leave. You two play, giggle, make noise and carry on in your crib. Matthew likes to suck on your binkies too while he's in there. Everyday you two are growing and interacting more and more. It makes my heart swell to see the bond that is already forming between you two, praying that it will only get stronger.

Mollie Lynn, words cannot express how much we love our little princess!
